| Purpose |
The medical staff office personnel manage the Medical Staff Application for Privileges process, as well as the credentialing of all physicians, dentists, podiatrists, and many mid-level practitioners. In addition, medical staff office personnel verify privileges, membership and residency. Our team is dedicated to assist Lincoln Park Hospital in its goal to deliver high quality of care by credentialing all medical staff professionals in compliance with the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies. Medical staff office personnel support the medical staff in a variety of ways, including the administrative process of the quarterly medical staff meetings and educational conferences/grand rounds. Additionally, we assist with the administrative process of submitting physician information to the Lincoln Park Hospital Free Physician Referral toll free number. |
