The Intensive Care Unit has eight beds and provides care for critically ill cardiac, medical and surgical patients. Lincoln Park Hospital has a high population of respiratory patients requiring ventilator support. Additionally, the Intensive Care Unit provides support for diagnostic cardiac caths, hemodialysis patients and inpatient cardioversions. All ICU nurses are ACLS certified.
The ICU has structured visitation to provide maximum patient comfort. Visiting hours are between the hours of 11:00 am and 8:00 pm for 15 minutes on the hour.
